Policies

I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following Studio Policies are honored…

Last Minute Booking Disclaimer: While I try my best to accommodate everyone’s scheduling requests, my studio is a fair distance from my home and prep time is required before each appointment, so although my online appointment schedule may state that I am available, if you book a last minute appointment (i.e. two hours or less before your desired appointment time), please know that I might have to reach out to you to try to work out an alternative time if I can’t squeeze you in…thank you in advance for your flexibility and understanding!

Parental Consent Required for Minors: I require a Parent Consent Form to be filled out by parent/guardian for all clients under the age of 18

Changing Your Appointment: A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule/cancel a booked appointment without financial penalty.

Late Arrivals: New clients are required to fill out waivers upon arrival, please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time to account for the paperwork. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, I will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be financially responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

Sickness or Family Emergency: If you, or another person in your household, has an infectious or contagious illness, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. For your safety and that of staff and other clients, please do not come to your appointments sick. If it is assumed you are currently sick, your appointment may be cut short or cancelled and rescheduled for when you are healthy again. A one-time allowance of last minute cancellation or reschedule will be permitted for sickness or family emergency. After that, the cancellation and no show policy is in effect.

Reschedule + Cancellation + No Show Policy: As a courtesy, multiple appointment reminders are sent out by text/email. If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of your appointment (or if you do not show up for your appointment), you will be charged 80% of your service as a cancellation fee.

A credit card deposit for all new clients and appointments will be required at the time of online booking and will not be charged unless the aforementioned has occurred. This is to protect the time that is set aside especially for you, as well as to respect and protect my time which books up quickly. In turn, I promise to keep appointments on time and give you my full undivided attention.

Lash Policy Details

  • Refund Policy: You are paying for artist time, product and other expenses used to provide you with a service. No refunds will be given for any reason on services or products. If you are unhappy with a service, you may contact me within 48 hours of your appointment to discuss your concerns and if a fix can be done to address your concerns, it will be done so with a complimentary 30 minute express touch up if it is at the fault of application or product. Any concerns addressed after 48 hours of your last appointment (or if you failed to follow the proper aftercare instructions) will be charged at full price for the service.
  • Arrival Time: If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, it may not be possible to extend the time available for your booked service. New clients are required to fill out lash waivers upon arrival, please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment so it doesn’t take time out of your lash application! If your service is shortened due to your late arrival you will still be charged the full cost of the service and the quality of the lash work may be affected.
  • Natural Lash Condition: Come to your appointment with natural lashes clean and free from oils (no mascara, eyeliner, or eye shadow). Any residue left will make it difficult for the lash adhesive to stick and might affect the retention of the extensions (even after the artist cleans them).
  • Post Lash: After your lashes are complete, remember not to expose your lashes to extreme heat (sauna, steam room, tanning bed, hot showers) for the next 48 hours. Select eye makeup and creams carefully (avoid oil-based or waterproof) and don’t use an eyelash curler!
    • Gently wash your lashes daily with a lash cleanser daily (even if you aren’t wearing makeup!)
    • In your face wash, lotion or makeup remover, avoid glycol. More specifically, avoid anything with PEG (Polyethylene Glycol), Hexalene Glycol, Butylene, or Propylene Glycol.
  • Outside Fill Policy (Other Artists’ Work): Due to the unregulated nature of eyelash extension trainings, certifications and state board regulations, there are a lot of lash artists that have been improperly trained. My priority is your natural lash health and eye safety. Thus, if you would like extensions applied by me but you are coming in with extensions from another lash artist, your current extensions will need to be removed (at the fee of $45, up to 30 minutes) and a new full set will be applied at the appropriate full set price.
  • Fill Policy: I recommend my clients to come back every 2-3 weeks for extensions to remain full. I require 25 healthy extensions (still at the base of the natural lash) remaining (per eye) to be eligible for my Fill Appointments. If a client has less than 25 extensions per eye (once the grown out lashes have been removed), the Fill Appointment will be adjusted to a Full Set service at the current Full Set price if time allows or the appointment will be re-scheduled to a future agreed upon time when a Full Set is available.
